Day 01
Arrival in Jaipur and Sightseeing
- Morning: Arrive in Jaipur by flight, train, or car. Our team will pick you up from the airport, railway station, or bus stand and take you to your hotel. Check in, freshen up, and get ready to explore the Pink City! Your first stop is Amber Fort, about 11 km from the city. This big fort sits on a hill and has beautiful walls, gates, and rooms. You can climb up on foot or take an optional elephant ride (extra cost). Inside, see the shiny Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) and enjoy the views.
- Lunch: After the fort, head back to the city for lunch. Try tasty Rajasthani food like Dal Baati Churma at a local restaurant (you pay for this).
- Afternoon: Next, visit the City Palace. This huge palace was home to Jaipur’s kings and queens. Walk through its courtyards and museums to see royal clothes, paintings, and old weapons. Right nearby is Jantar Mantar, a cool place with big stone tools to measure time and stars. It’s fun to see how people studied the sky long ago.
- Evening: Spend your evening in Jaipur’s famous markets like Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar. Buy jewelry, clothes, or handicrafts to remember your trip. If you want, join an optional cultural show with folk dances and music (extra cost). Later, return to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.
- Overnight: Stay at your hotel in Jaipur.
Day 02
Day Trip to Ajmer and Pushkar
- Early Morning: Wake up, have breakfast at the hotel, and start your day with a drive to Ajmer. It’s about 135 km from Jaipur, taking around 2.5 hours. When you arrive, visit the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. This is a special place where people come to pray and feel peaceful. Learn about the saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and soak in the calm vibes.
- Mid-Morning: Drive 30 minutes from Ajmer to Pushkar. First, see Pushkar Lake, a holy spot surrounded by steps called ghats. People believe it’s a magical place created by Lord Brahma. Then, visit the Brahma Temple nearby. It’s one of the few temples in the world for Brahma, the creator god in Hindu stories.
- Lunch: Enjoy a simple vegetarian lunch in Pushkar at a local restaurant (you pay for this). The town doesn’t serve meat because it’s a holy place.
- Afternoon: After lunch, take some time to walk around Pushkar’s small streets. You’ll find shops selling colorful clothes, leather bags, and fun trinkets. It’s a great spot to relax or take pictures.
- Late Afternoon: Start your drive back to Jaipur, reaching the city by evening (around 2.5 hours).
- Tour Ends: Once back in Jaipur, we’ll drop you off at your hotel, the airport, or the railway station, depending on your plans. Say goodbye to this amazing trip!
Alani –
Very part of this tour was excellent. Our room was lovely – larger than expected. We had a balcony which I really enjoyed.
