Tour Plan

Jaipur Elephant Village Tour Itinerary

8:00 AM – Pick-up from Your Hotel

Your adventure starts when we pick you up from your hotel in Jaipur. You’ll ride in a comfy, air-conditioned car or van. The drive to the Elephant Village takes about 30-40 minutes. Along the way, you’ll see colorful streets and maybe even some local sights as you head toward the Amber Fort area.

8:45 AM – Arrive at the Elephant Village

When you get to the village, your guide will greet you with a warm welcome. They’ll tell you a little about the place—how it’s a safe home for rescued elephants and why it’s important to treat them kindly. You’ll feel excited knowing you’re about to meet these big, gentle animals!

9:00 AM – Meet and Greet the Elephants

Time to meet your elephant! You’ll walk up to them, pet them, and see how friendly they are. The guide will tell you cool facts—like how elephants use their trunks or how much they love being around people. This is your chance to get comfortable with them before the fun starts.

9:30 AM – Feed the Elephants

Grab some bananas, sugarcane, or bamboo—it’s feeding time! You’ll hand the food to the elephants and watch them eat happily. Did you know they can eat up to 200 kg of food a day? It’s a great way to bond with them, and they’ll probably thank you with a big trunk wave!

10:15 AM – Paint the Elephants

Now, get creative! You’ll use safe, plant-based colors to paint designs on the elephants. Maybe draw flowers, stars, or just splash some color—it’s up to you. The paints are gentle on their skin and wash off later, so it’s fun for everyone. The elephants love the attention, and you’ll love seeing them look so colorful.

11:00 AM – Walk with the Elephants

Next, join your elephant for a short walk around the village. Your guide will lead the way, showing you the peaceful paths and telling you more about how elephants act in nature. The Aravali Mountains make a pretty backdrop, and you might even spot the Amber Fort in the distance. It’s a relaxing way to enjoy the day.

12:00 PM – Bathe the Elephants (Seasonal)

If you’re visiting between March and September, this is the best part—bathing time! You’ll head to a nearby river and help splash water on the elephants. They love playing in the water, and you might get wet too (bring extra clothes!). If it’s October to February, it’s too cold for bathing, so we’ll skip this part and move to the next activity.

12:45 PM – Lunch Break (Optional)

Take a break to eat. The tour doesn’t include food, so bring a packed lunch or buy snacks nearby. There are shady spots to sit and relax while you recharge. It’s a good time to talk about your favorite moments so far!

1:30 PM – Learn About Elephant Care

Before you go, your guide will share more about the elephants. You’ll hear how they were rescued and what the village does to keep them healthy and happy. It’s a chance to ask questions and learn why trips like this help protect elephants in India.

2:00 PM – Head Back to Jaipur

Say goodbye to your elephant friends—it’s time to go! You’ll hop back in the car and head to your hotel in Jaipur. The drive takes about 30-40 minutes, and you’ll arrive with a big smile and lots of great memories from your Jaipur Elephant Village Tour.
